3 Day / 2 Night Ha Giang Loop
The 3-day tour covers the full loop and hits all the major highlights — Ma Pi Leng Pass, Dong Van, Lung Cu Flag Tower, and the karst plateau. It’s a solid option if your time in Northern Vietnam is tight.
The one trade-off is the final day. With less time in the itinerary, the last day involves more driving to get back to Ha Giang city — which means less time to stop, explore, and soak it all in.
It’s still a spectacular trip. But here’s something worth knowing:
Most travelers who book the 3-day tour end up extending it once they’re on the road.
When you’re out there riding through some of the most beautiful scenery in Southeast Asia, two nights goes faster than you think. If there’s any flexibility in your schedule, it’s worth considering the extra day before you go rather than scrambling to rearrange once you’re already on the loop.
4 Day / 3 Night Ha Giang Loop
The 4-day tour covers everything the 3-day does — and then goes further.
The extra day takes you to Du Gia Village, one of the most scenic and traditional stops on the entire loop, including a visit to the Du Gia Waterfall. It’s the kind of place most travelers don’t expect to find — and end up saying was one of the highlights of their whole trip.
The pace is more relaxed across all four days, which means more time to stop at viewpoints, explore villages, talk to locals, and actually feel the place rather than just ride through it.
