Absolutely. Our standalone Cao Bang tours start and end in Cao Bang province — perfect if you're coming from Hanoi by bus. You don't need to do Ha Giang first.
2 days covers Ban Gioc, Nguom Ngao, Pac Bo Cave and Angel Eye Mountain — see our 2-day tour. 3 days adds Khau Coc Cha — see our 3-day tour.
Yes — see our Ha Giang + Cao Bang combo tours. We route you directly into Cao Bang via Bao Lac instead of returning to Ha Giang City.
September to November and March to May offer the best weather. Ban Gioc is spectacular year-round but can be misty in deep winter (Dec–Feb).
From Cao Bang City you can take a sleeper bus to Hanoi (~6–7 hours). We're happy to help arrange this as part of our full trip support.
